Weekly Elementary Art & Science Enrichment and Pre-K story times & activities
Activities throughout the year to nurture community and provide fellowship and support among homeschooling families in Douglas County
Fall 2022
Our weekly co-op meets on Thursday mornings at St. Francis of Assisi in Castle Rock.
For the 2022-2023 Academic year we will offer enrichment classes for Elementary & Middle School Students and a mommy-and-me style Pre-K program.

Enrichment Classes
This Fall we are offering an 8-week semester of elective-style classes including Art and Science.  Courses will be divided by age/grade level: the age cutoff between classes will depend on final enrollment. Passionate, Catholic teachers will lead the classes rather than co-op moms, which means higher fees than previous year, but less volunteering (and more time for fellowship between moms).

Preschool
Preschoolers can participate in story time and activities, free for any families with older children enrolled in classes. (If you do NOT have elementary-age children, but have a 3-, 4-, or young 5-year old who would like to participate in Pre-K activities, please contact us regarding a pre-K-only option.)

Parent Commitment
Our co-op is not a drop-off program, and we will to take turns being the second adult helpers to the teachers in the science and art classrooms. However, each mom will not be needed every week. We just ask that moms stay on the St. Francis campus; moms are welcome to spend time in prayer in the sanctuary and/or utilize extra space for homeschool planning. In order to follow Diocesan policy, all adult participants - teachers and moms - are required to have Safe Environment Training. This is an online "module" that can be completed at home when convenient.

Calendar
Our fall semester runs September into November; Spring Semester March-May. Between semesters we will have a long Christmas break, followed by our "Learning Lunch" series: educational demonstrations followed by lunch & fellowship. **2022 - 2023 Calendar Coming Soon!**

Enrollment
Fall enrollment has not opened yet.
If you are interested in joining us, please fill out this Expression of Interest Form.

Homeschool Community
We also provide opportunities for homeschool families to connect during the year outside of the weekly co-op. These activities are open to all families. In the past we have offered field trips, student presentation days, and Mom’s Night Out events. This is a great option for families who are not able to make the weekly commitment of the co-op. Please contact us to learn more.
